Cascina San Lazzaro, “Dadelio Bianco” 2009

IMG_3433.JPGAcacia-barrel flower-melon madness! This is a tough one to figure out. Hard to tell if it’s more like Lillet or Manzanilla, but definitely interesting nonetheless. Has that slight oxidized quality found in most aged whites. Not for people who like straightforward wine. This is part of an experimental project by Icardi, a biodynamic producer in Piedmont. It’s a blend of 80% Cortese and 20% Moscato.
